Blue iPod singing songs of love
A weak imitation of the pristine skies above
The only blemish in the winter sky
Being white clouds floating lazily by
A crisp wind blows across the place
Bringing only memories of your face
And those good times we might’ve shared
If only, if only you would’ve cared
You’re so far and you’re so near
And there’s courage and there’s fear
Hovering on the outskirts of my mind
That thought that I can’t find
I know that high school feelings don’t last
So I’ll just wait til this one has passed
As I know it will
But somehow, I hope it won’t

Much more sad than your others... and you break the rhythm a couple of times. Or maybe it's just they way I read it.
That aside, I LOVE <3 the description in the first paragraph. Sounds like a day where I'd give anything to be outside.
Second paragraph... I can't critique it, because I'm not sure I understand it entirely. But the last two lines are perfect. Broken rhyme scheme, excellent! I hope it won't. Ahh. Means so much, too. Mk I'm done, pass the comment lovin' along now!
